My project right now is in the phase where everything is being put together. For Friday I showed a layout of the site I was considering and the final maps that will be incorporated into the project. Most feedback suggested a different layout which I realized was impractical for my projects size. I think I’m going to do a navigation bar at the top of the page with links to specific cases and diseases under each section.
For the maps, it was suggested that I put a description for instructions or about the data, and that was an idea I hadn’t thought about. By looking through my project I realized it could be a lot more descriptive in terms of labeling or even adding in pictures for context. For navigation, the project could be organized better so the viewers can look through it easier and have more freewill in terms of what will be shown next. Also the suggestions wanted more information on the background purpose and reason behind my choices which was surprising.
For finishing my project I still need to add in a full works cited page, navigation bar, photos, embed the maps correctly, and try a different layout for the final site.
