I am very glad that I had the opportunity to participate in this fellowship. I really enjoyed being able to do my own research on something that I was passionate about, rather than assisting a professor on theirs. I also liked how I was able to control for the most part how my research went and what its presentation would be. I also really liked being able to work at my own pace.
I’m not very tech savvy and I don’t actually like technology, but I was excited to expand my abilities and learn something new. I really enjoyed how many tools I learned and how they can be used to creatively present my research an information. I feel like they were very important skills to learn and I already have a plan to use them in the future for a digital project I want to create.
